Conference: Pathways to Qualification in Career guidance

The conference “Pathway to Qualification in Career guidance” will take place on June 22, 2026, focusing on current challenges, standards, and the development of qualifications in career guidance, particularly in adult education. The event will also provide a platform for international cooperation and dialogue among professional associations in Central Europe. A key part of the program will be the inaugural meeting aimed at establishing the Central European Forum of Associations for Career Counseling, with representatives from the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Romania.

9:30 – 12:00: Qualification of career counselors in adult education in Slovakia

13:00 – 15:00: Inaugural conference on the establishment of the Central European Forum of Associations for Career Counseling

13:00 – 13:15 Introduction: Presentation of the project and the CEEGAF platform (Tomas Sprlak, ZKPRK )

13:15 – 13:45 Presentation of the work of the associations (Alice Mullerová / Lenka Hloušková / Zuzana Freibergová, SKPKR)

13:45 – 14:15 Presentation of activity 2 and 3: overview of the realized events, toolbox and some good practices, transfert and mobility opportunities (ACROM)

14:15 – 14:45 Presentation of the activity 4: presentation of qualification standards and their comparison in four countries (Tibor Bors Borbély-Pecze, HPA)

14:45 – 15:00 Ceremonial signing of the memorandum of cooperation of the Central European Forum of Associations for Career Guidance (representatives of the four associations) and closing remarks by Martin Martinkovič, president of ZKPRK
